Spring is here and during this season of the year, we usually will go for a mini Spring vacation either to some park nearby or a tour to some beautiful gardens where flowers are blooming welcoming the spring season.

The home and garden shows week in Richmond has just ended last week and we took the girls out to a tour at some historical homes and took a brisk walk in their gardens the weekend before. We had an interesting time and the girls truly enjoyed the time touring the houses.

The Nature Center includes a hands-on exhibit called the Nature Discovery Center, a laboratory, and three outdoor classrooms located deep in the cypress swamp. I’m impressed that Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center is the first project in Texas and the 50th project in the world to earn the U.S. Green Building Council’s Platinum certification for LEED®-NC, which verifies the design and construction of Shangri La reached the highest green building and performance measures.

There is also a cafe that offers a variety of delectable soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts to satisfy the appetites of visitors and members of Shangri La. Its hour of operations is from Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Tickets is available for purchase at the entrance of Shangri La. Admission is free for toddler under three with parent guardian. Well, here is the deal. For as little as $40 a year to become a member, you will enjoy a free, unlimited general admission, discounts, and special members-only events.

My house was built in the 70s. I love the house, especially the location, but the bathrooms are so small. They are in the style that houses were built then. My master bedroom bathroom is tiny. The photo to the left is from Madame Tussouds Las Vegas. It looks real doesn’t it? The museum is amazing and full of unbelievably realistic works of art like the one pictured here.You can take a nature tour during the day and take in a show in the evening then spend the night in the casinos. You can pretty much do whatever you want and whatever makes for a perfect vacation for you.

Jodie Sweetin and her husband welcomed a new baby girl to the family. They named the baby Zoie, and Zoie entered the world at over eight and a half pounds. Here’s the story:

Jodie Sweetin and her husband of less than a year now have their very own Full House: The actress has given birth to a baby daughter, PEOPLE has confirmed.

Baby Zoie was delivered via C-section Saturday afternoon, and arrived weighing 8 lbs. 7 oz. and is 21 in. long. “Jodie says that she and her husband and family are absolutely thrilled and in love with baby Zoie,” says a rep for the actress.

I don’t know about you, but I think Jodie looks gorgeous - healthy, happy and all-American. Looks can be deceiving, thouh. She’s had some issues with drugs in the past, and she met and married her second husband very quickly. We wish them lots of luck and happiness with Zoie.
