Berthold Von Stauffenberg is not a Tom Cruise fan. Von Stauffenberg is the son of German aristocrat Count Claus Schenk von Stauffenberg who made an attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler in 1944.

Von Stauffenberg said in an interview published in Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper that he particularly upset with Cruise’s “off-putting” devotion to the Scientology faith, a religion he calls a “business”.

Cruise is playing Von Stauffenberg’s father in the upcoming movie ‘Valkyrie’. Von Stauffenberg said the movie is ’sure to be crap. I am not saying that Cruise is a bad actor — I cannot judge that. But in any case, I fear that it could turn into horrible kitsch.”

Von Stauffenberg’s father was heroic in his attempt to kill Hitler. The fact that his attempt failed to kill Hitler is considered one of the greatest tragedies of the 20th Century.

Stauffenberg said he would not take legal action to try to stop Valkyrie, but hoped Cruise would drop the project nevertheless.

“He should keep his hands off my father. He should climb a mountain or go surfing in the Caribbean.”

“I don’t care, as long as he stays out of it.”

I hear ya Von Stauffenberg. I wouldn’t want him pretending to be my father either.

Keith Urban has been touring the United States flew to Australia to celebrate Nicole Kidman’s 40th birthday Wednesday. She is in Australia filming Baz Luhrmann’s Australia Down Under.

He flew into Sydney and then took a private jet to Bowen to meet Nicole on her movie set.

On Wednesday, Kidman’s actual birthday, the couple watched a surprise fireworks display for the birthday girl from a mountaintop lookout in Bowen. They also traveled to nearby Horseshoe Bay, according to another source. Urban, 39, is scheduled to resume his U.S. tour next week.

Also for Kidman’s birthday, director Luhrmann, who directed her in 2001’s Moulin Rouge, put together a bash for his leading lady that included caterers flown in from the States, Australia’s Daily Telegraph reports.

Locally, Bowen Mayor Mike Brunker had his own contribution to make to the festivities, telling the Telegraph, “My wife spent all day baking, now we’re just waiting for Nicole to arrive.”

My husband would have probably sent me a card and called me on my birthday. He’d have probably said he’d love to be with me if only I wasn’t on the other side of the world.

Paternity DNA test prove that Eddie Murphy is the Scary Spice’s baby daddy.

Melanie Brown is Scary Spice of the Spice Girls. She and Murphy had been dating last summer but Murphy dumped her when she was pregnant. She gave birth to a baby girl, Angel Iris Murphy Brown, in April and named Murphy as the father.

Murphy declined to accept that he was the father of the child and was forced to take a paternity test to resolve the issue.

He has never seen his daughter with Brown.

So will the baby be called ‘Murphy Brown’? Sorry, lame joke.

Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis of American Idol fame, have been awfully close since their days on Idol.

The couple has been spotted by TMZ holding hands and shopping together.

Rumor has it that Katie Holmes is pregnant again. The British Sun and Daily Mail published photos of Holmes with her stomach poking out a bit.

Earlier this month, Holmes said she was eager to have a brother or sister for her 14-month-old daughter Suri and her stepchildren Isabella and Connor.

She said, “Yeah, definitely (we want more children). We have so many kids in our house, there’s always this wonderful chatter and the great noise of kids. He’s a great father and so it came as no shock that when we had Suri he was amazing with the baby.”

Well, isn’t that special! I wonder if this means more couch jumping.

According to a blog named Good Plastic Surgery, Heather Locklear’s plastic surgery is done well. As they point out, she’s not a celebrity most of us think of when we think of plastic surgery. That may be the very definition of plastic surgery - subtle enhancements.

Good Plastic Surgery says it’s also probably because she doesn’t make public appearances unless she is promoting something. They like her nose job too.

Maybe it’s because Jennifer Anniston has been estranged from her own mother, Nancy Anniston, but she’s had an ongoing close relationship with her former mother-in-law, Jane Pitt.

Earlier this week, Jane, mother of Brad, stopped by Jennifer’s place for a two-hour visit. She was escorted from a black SUV by Brad’s security. Celebrity Babylon got the photos.

I know every body feels sorry for Jennifer, but I don’t see it that way. She’s one of the wealthiest women in Hollywood and who knows what their marriage was like. I don’t see all that much to feel sorry for, she’s not doing that badly.
