I guess all the hullabaloo about the Olsen Twins wearing fur hasn’t deterred them from fur wearing. PETA named the Olsen twins the Trollson twins because they love their pelts so much. After that, the twins said they were going to be more sensitive to animals and not wear fur so much. I guess Mary Kate Olsen didn’t take the PETA beating to heart. She was wearing this fur jacket over the weekend in New York City. The girl isn’t going to let PETA tell her what to do!

I have a set of dinner napkins EXACTLY like the scarf Ashley is wearing! Or Mary Kate? The blue scarf. Who would’ve known! I just use them for napkins.

There are some celebrities that are simply over-rated. For some reason, they are given much more status and attention than they deserve. Although some are good actors and/or have done good things, they aren’t THAT good. What do you think?

1. Brad Pitt
Okay, he’s cute, but really - he isn’t THAT smart. He’s got himself hooked up with a woman who very publicly tongue kissed her own brother and who used to wear a vial of her lover’s blood around her neck. She was also into cutting herself.

2. Angelina Jolie
She’s got a good publicist, that’s for sure. She’s depicted in the press as something akin to Mother Teresa. It seems everyone has forgotten that she is the one who did the things mentioned in #1 above.

3. Britney Spears
She’s not that good a singer.

4. Paris Hilton
Supposedly she’s a changed woman. It’s not happening so far. We’ll see.

5. Nick Lachey
What is it that makes him famous? I don’t get it. If it hadn’t been for the reality show with Jessica Simpson, most people would have no clue who he is.

6. Tom Cruise
Enough is enough. This guy’s a kook. Sure, he’s a good actor, but there are thousands of good actors.

7. Rosie O’Donnell
So she’s gay and she’s angry about everything. She may be categorized as a commedian, but she’s anything but funny.

8. Lindsay Lohan
She was a cute kid, but she’s a pitiful adult.

9. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen
Again, they were cute kids, but they’re abysmal adults.

10. Meg Ryan
Plastic surgery run amok. She is a caricature of her former self. The Meg we used to love is no more.

11. Tara Reid
Remind me now. . . WHY is she famous?

12. Oprah Winfrey
She’s a smart lady and she does a lot of good things, but come on, folks, she isn’t GOD! Some of the books she has recommended (I Feel Bad About My Neck, for example) are boring crap.

13. Michael Jackson
Yes, he’s had some phenomenal success as a singer and songwriter. However, he is seriously screwed-up.

According to TMZ.com, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are looking for interns for their clothing line. And since they are so very very rich, they will pay the interns . . . nothing. Nada. Zilch. That’s right. These young moguls want their interns to make a commitment for at least 2-3 months for absolutely no pay. No, that’s wrong - the interns ARE provided with a Metro card so they can ride the subway to and from work free. I’m awed at their generosity . . . not!

Last summer’s gladiator sandals have not been seen so much this year. There have been a couple of exceptions. Mary Kate Olsen (above) was spotted walking around in a Chanel pair recently. Carine Roitfeld, editor of Vogue Paris was seen at the Paris fashion shows wearing a pair of gladiator heels.

That is so 2006! So will the gladiator style reemerge for the summer of 2007?
