Oh No!! No 24!!

First there were the California fires, then Jack Bauer … I mean Kiefer Sutherland, … got a DUI and is scheduled to do some time jail time for that. Now the Hollywood script writers have gone on strike.

All of that adds up to no 24 this season. They say they aren’t going to air any of it till all of it is filmed. So, its going to be indefinitely delayed.

Elisha Cuthbert Indulges Rumors of 24 Movie

Elisha Cuthbert tells the press that a 24 movie might begin filming as early as next year when the 7th season of 24 wraps up filming. She says Kiefer Sutherland’s schedule is part of the reason a 24 movie hasn’t already been in the works.

“I think Kiefer is so busy getting these seasons done that it’s almost impossible to get anything going…we’ve been talking about it since the first season… but it’s got to be good.”

“Their standards are so high over there that if it happens it’s gonna happen at the right time and have the right script and all the elements have to be in the right place.”

Sounds like the movie will be well worth the wait!
