Amy Winehouse is not in the same class as other celebs her age that are complete celebuwrecks. She’s actually got serious talent. She reminds me a little of Janis Joplin. Talented, unique, insecure and a complete mess.

This is a live performance from her current tour. Amsterdam, October 22nd. Was that before or after she was arrested there? I don’t remember.

Amy Winehouse got off to a rocky start with her 27-date European tour. Some of her group felt the unexpected arrival of her husband, Blake Fielder Civil, might create drama making it hard for Amy to get through the tour.

She has been seen out and about in Berlin in the same clothes for days at a time and munching on junk food …. another one of her addictions.

She got through last night’s performance well once she got into the swing of things on stage. She seemed to be pull herself together after stumbling over the words of her first songs.

Amy Winehouse is a mess. She’s struggled with alcohol and drugs. In her newest release Rehab she’s pretty clear that her answer to everyone wanting her to go to rehab is ‘No, no, no’. She sings that she might lose her man. Considering her relationship with her husband, it seems that it just might be the case. She seems like she’s an addict and co-dependent at the same time.

Then there’s the self-mutilation ….

Mick Jagger has a soft spot in his heart for Amy … he’s offering her some advice. He might just be the perfect person to give her some advice.

Mick Jagger has pledged his support to Amy Winehouse after her recent battle with drugs.

The Rolling Stones’ frontman knows a thing or two about narcotics and The Mirror reports he said:

“I’m worried she might die if she goes down the road she has taken. If only she would sort herself out”

He continued: “I could have ended up like Amy years ago… I realised I didn’t want to die young.”

Jagger duetted with Wino at the Isle Of Wight Festival this summer though she had to pull out of supporting his band after her drugs meltdown.

The Stones’ singer is said to love the Back To Black diva so much he even wants to duet with her on record.

Mick said: “Amy is a brilliant artist who makes fantastic music. She has class.”

The problem is that Amy won’t get better till she wants to get better and she doesn’t seem like she’s any where near that right now.

For a moment in time Amy Winehouse and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil seemed untroubled while they vacationed in St Lucia. Amy actually looked almost healthy during their time away from it all. There were even rumors she might be pregnant because people had noticed she had gained a little weight.

It was just a brief moment though. Now that she has returned to Britain she is bleeding again.

Amy, famous for her aptly named hit Rehab, was seen jumping out of a taxi in Chelsea shielding a nasty cut on her right hand.

In fact, the injury was so bad that it soaked a hanky Amy was using as a makeshift bandage and even left blood splattered on her shoe.

An onlooker said: “Her hand looked to be in a right state, she was tightly gripping it with a piece of material but you could still see the wound.”

Along with drugs and eating disorders, Amy has been plagued by a self-harming tendency for some time.

Her husband is due to go to court next month on charges grievous bodily harm with intent that resulted from an attack on a bartender. If convicted, he could be facing a sentence of anything up to life in prison. Many believe that Amy’s recent spiraling out-of-control behavior is due to her worry over what will happen to Civil.

It really seems to me that these two have a toxic affect on one another.

Amy Winehouse and her husband had a terrible fight in the early morning hours of Thursday and they both emerged bruised and bloodied. Amy claims she was cutting herself and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, tried to stop her.

This seems to be a pattern with the two. She gets into trouble, he ‘rescues’ her and they both get into trouble together. She was in rehab recently following an overdose and he ‘rescued’ her from rehab and they went bar hopping together.

After the fight that left them both cut and bloody, both sets of their parents got together to try to intervene in an attempt to rescue both of them.

The desperate families of Amy Winehouse and her drug using husband are keeping a round-the-clock vigil on the couple - amid fears they are risking their lives with their addictions.

The exasperated in-laws convened following a violent, unseemly brawl between the couple in which both parties emerged bruised, bloodied and battered.

Both Blake Fielder-Civil’s parents, Georgette and Giles, the 23-year-old singer’s father, Mitch, have imposed strict new rules on the pair in a last-ditch attempt to keep them away from drugs – and each other.

As well monitoring them at all times, the families are also insisting on separate bedrooms.

The part that really bothered me (as though there’s anything in this story that isn’t just awful) is her twisted thinking in her defense of her husband. This is a very sick relationship any way you cut it (no pun intended).

Last night (RI), however, Miss Winehouse publicly defended her husband through a series of texts to American gossip columnist, Perez, claiming that the music producer had saved her life. “Blake is the best man in the world,” she wrote.

“We would never ever harm each other… I was cutting myself after he found me in our room about to do drugs with a call girl and rightly said I wasn’t good enough for him. I lost it and he saved my life.

“He did not and never has hurt me. He has such a hard time and he so supportive. He is an amazing man who saved my life again and got cut badly for his troubles.

“I’ll be alright. I need to fight my man’s corner for him though.”

They are obviously not just addicted to drugs but to each other and to the sickness of their relationship. I really don’t see how she is going to survive.

Janis Winehouse went to her daughter’s side when Amy was hospitalized following a recent drug overdose. She hated the condition she saw her daughter in. Janis is terribly worried about how Amy will survive. Rather, whether or not she will survive at all.

As Amy Winehouse’s celebwreck of a life is played out in tabloids I can’t help but think of what a pathetic creature she is. She’s likely to go the way of Janis Joplin, only without the talent, body of work and fame that Joplin had. Its truly sad.

After collapsing from a reported accidental drug overdose of heroin, cocaine, ketamine and marijuana last week, Amy is now in rehab with husband Blake Fielder-Civil at the Causeway centre in Essex.

Janis, 52, who is separated from husband Mitchell, 56, saw Amy immediately after her ‘accident’ and was horrified.

‘She looked terrible. She was lucky to be alive,’ she tells the Mail On Sunday. ‘I think her brain’s addled. This isn’t Amy.

‘I hugged her and kept saying, “What are you doing to yourself?”

‘She has said to me, “I don’t think I’m going to survive that long”. She’s on a path of self-mutilation.’

Janis hates her daughter’s tattoos and didn’t realise she was self-harming. But Amy told her she had an eating disorder last year.

‘I was taking her to the dentist and she admitted she had anorexia and bulimia,’ Janis reveals.

The 52-year-old, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, would like to stay close to Amy but wasn’t even invited to her wedding.

‘Sometimes I don’t phone her because if I don’t phone her, I don’t get hurt,’ Janis says sadly. ‘She can’t just brush me off and say she’s too busy or too tired.’

I think her mother has every reason to be worried.
