Bristol Palin gave birth to a baby boy over the weekend. Weighing in at 7 lbs 4 oz., Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston made his debut in Palmer, Alaska to his 18 year old parents, Bristol and her fiancée, Levi Johnston.

Palin and Johnston plan to marry next year. Levi has dropped out of school and has begun work as an apprentice electrician. Bristol is finishing up her high school diploma via an online correspondence program.

Bristol’s great-aunt, Colleen Jones reported, ‘We think it’s wonderful. The baby is fine and Bristol is doing well. Everyone is excited.’
