The drop-dead gorgeous Crystle Stewart of Texas was crowned Miss USA 2008 tonight. The pageant was televised live from Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. She is a 26-year-old entrepreneur.

Mother’s Day is just a month away! I can’t believe its already getting to be that time of year. This year, Mother’s Day is on May 11th!

I generally spend Mother’s Day with my mother, obviously. She loves fresh cut flower arrangements. I have spent time in her yard and garden planting flowers so that she can have an arrangement as often as possible. There is just nothing as beautiful as flowers, plus, they smell so wonderful! Most women really appreciate flowers. It ashamed people don’t think of sending them unless its a holiday or someone is sick. I hope people will think of sending them just to show someone they are thinking of them.

Elizabeth Rohm had a baby girl on April 10th. She is an actress on Law & Order. She and her fiance, entrepreneur Ron Wooster named their baby Easton August Anthony. Apparently, the name came to Rohm in a dream and ‘Anthony’ is Woosters ‘other surname’. I’m not sure what that means, but whatever.

Rhian Sugden is a 21 year old model from Manchester, United Kingdom. She is one of the most popular Page 3 models. Her 32DDs might have something to do with that …. I could be wrong, of course.

She’s been selected to be featured in a new television series, Glamour Girls. The new BBC3 series begins on April 21 and follows whatever is happening at the Samantha Bond Model Agency that is run by former model Sam Bond. The basic concept of the show is to assess why the world of glamor attracts so many young women.

Rihanna has new tattoo. Actually, its an extension of one of her other tattoos. She had some stars on her neck before and now she’s got them falling further down her back. This is tattoo number five for her. It just seems to me that they could have included that mole in the design … I’m just saying ….

J.K. Rowling looked stunning when she attended the British Book Awards to pick up a Lifetime Achievement Award. The problem she had was that her neckline was plunging a little more than she might have intended. Hey, the woman has it so she might as well show it off. She struggled with it all evening, having to hike up her top from time to time. Then suddenly, her publicist, Mark Hutchinson, helped her with her modesty and got a handful.

The funniest part is his embarrassment over it. He declared he didn’t remember. Then he said he was going for the strap and never actually touched her breasts. Then he said it was probably the angle of the camera. Bloody hell man! Quit being so British. We see the look on your face. You loved it. Own it.

Actor Stanley Kamel was found dead yesterday in his Hollywood home yesterday. He was 65. As of now the cause of death is not known. Kamel is best known for playing Dr. Charles Kroger on ‘Monk’.

Mary-Louise Parker has called off her engagement to her Weeds co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan. This is reported by the anonymous close friend that every celebrity has who gives out information about them to the press. The anonymous close friend says they just have different lifestyles and that Parker holds Morgan in the highest regard and hopes they can stay friends. :yawn:

Don’t you wonder about these anonymous close friend? Who ARE these people? Maybe its just one person whose whole job is to leak information about celebrities to the press. Or maybe there is one assigned to each celebrity just for the purpose of telling celeb secrets. And how about the whole ‘different lifestyles’ thing? Wouldn’t they have figured out they had different lifestyles before they got engaged to begin with. They’ve been dating since 2006 - that’s 2 years. Wouldn’t they have figured that out in two years? It just makes me think that there’s a lot more to the story ….. Stay tuned. We’ll find out ….
