Halle Berry gave birth to a little baby girl. Mother and baby are doing fine and are healthy and happy. Halle says that she and her baby daddy, Gabriel Aubry, don’t have any plans to marry but are completely committed to each other.

I know I’m a heartless bitch, but I have laughed and laughed every time I’ve watched listened to this video. It happened when some paparazzi were following Nicole Kidman to confront whine at him about a beating a paparazzi friend had taken a couple of days earlier at the hands of Nicole’s personal trainer. The bodyguard had really had enough of the whole thing, it seems.

You don’t see that much and have to wonder how much of it might have been a tad exaggerated by the paps. But then when you see his face you realize that he really did take a beating … probably. I have to say that the French paparazzi guy squealed and cried like a little girl. I mean, I know that’s a rough businesses and I have a certain amount of sympathy for the guys. After all, I’m doing this blog and making part of my living off of this, so who am I to judge. But really, you can understand why the bodyguard lost it with this guy. He was such a wus. If nothing else, you can respect somebody who takes it on the chin like a man. He didn’t even try to duke it out with the guy. I hope I would have at least tried to get in one good shot even if I came out the worse for it.

Anyway, Nicole was in the car that the paps were following. The bodyguard stopped the car and came back to the paps car and beat the shit out of the guy. Nicole was without a doubt expressionless, as is to be expected.

I mean, think of the other hotel guests who have to swim in the very same pool! Just yuck.

I’m thinking Madonna has been watching too much WWE lately. She did the photo below for the cover of Interview Magazine just last week. Now we are treated to her in pretty much the same style for her Hard Candy album cover. Its promoted as tough and sweet. I’m missing the sweet part - but maybe that’s just me.

My parents always put a big emphasis on the importance of education. They put so much an emphasis on it that all of their children ended up with higher educations. It just was never considered an option in our household. High school wasn’t the end of school, it was just the end of one step before you went on to the next.

My parents had grown up in hard times and they had learned that an education was the way to be able to give yourself a better chance of making it in the world. They struggled to get their educations after they were married and had children. It didn’t matter what it cost or how many loans we had to take out. We went to school. I’m very grateful to this day that they had that attitude. I didn’t understand it at the time. But I have to admit it has served me well as an adult.

My grandmother had one of those shiny silver Christmas Trees every year. When I was little I thought it was old fashioned an ugly. They’ve come back in style a little, but I’m not sure how stylish it is to be wearing one. I’m wondering how the hell Kate Bosworth got my grandmother’s Christmas Tree and made it into a dress! Serious. How’d she do that? My grandmother had ornaments that were just like Kate’s shoes! And she’s got leggin’s on her arms. What made her think of doing that? I have to quit looking at that dress cause its making my eyes hurt.

Jessica Alba does not look like a happy camper in this photo. She’s attending the Kung Fu Panda Screening and is pictured below there with Mike Myers. Something about her standing there with her hands on her hips and her lips pursed reminds me of a teacher I had in middle school. She just looks prissy and bitchy. Maybe she’s miserable because of her baby bump. Maybe its the hormones talking. Then again. She looks like that a lot even when she’s not pregnant.
