Suri Cruise is cute as a button. I think she favors Katie a lot. She’s featured on the cover of US Weekly this week with an article on her Scientology upbringing. Apparently, L. Ron Hubbard advocated parents being ‘friends’ rather than disciplinarians.

According to the blurb from the article, Tom doesn’t like being around people who aren’t Scientologists so everyone in the household, including her nannies are Scientologists. She should be pretty well indoctrinated by the time she’s a teenager.

To top that off, Tom and Katie just hate saying ‘no’ to the little darlin’. So she gets whatever she wants.

Suri pretty much does whatever she wants, whenever she wants. If she fusses before bed, they let her stay up later. If they want her to go swimming and she cries, they’ll take her out. If she whines about food, they’ll ask her what else she wants to eat. They always want to please her.

That’s a recipe for a very spoiled child. *cough*Britney Spears*cough* If they can’t say ‘no’ to her now, what are they going to do when she’s a teenager and wants to do whatever she wants? If you discipline them when they are young you have better control of them when they are older and harder to control. That’s my theory anyway.

It could work though. I guess time will tell.

Everyone is speculating whether there is a relationship between the two, on what on earth she sees in the 39-year-old Welsh actor and are worrying that he is dragging her down into a world of partying, hard drinking and drugs.

The couple have been inseparable since hooking up over the summer. They’ve been seen everywhere together. Ifans has been staying in Sienna’s apartment for a couple of months. The couple claimed he was sleeping on her couch because his houseboat sprung a leak. But then they were spotted kissing on the street and the rumors exploded.

Ifans is best known to us mere mortals as the grungy disgusting roommate of Huge Grant in the movie Notting Hill, but in the glamor circles of London he is the clown prince. The Camden Caners of London use words like charming, charismatic, lovely, endearing to describe him.

Still everyone knows he’s a hard partier and pretty much has made that his lifestyle. Now everyone is worried that Sienna is falling into that late night partying trap. I guess time will tell. As for the pictures … she looks cold and tired and maybe she’s just got a migraine! Then again, she might have been out partying all night the night before!

Angelina Jolie is pictured on the set of the Clint Eastwood movie The Changeling. She is playing the mother of an abducted child who is eventually returned to her. When the child is returned she doesn’t believe the child is really hers. The movie is based on a true story and is set in the 1920s.

While Angelina has returned to Los Angeles to begin work on this movie, Brad Pitt is finishing up work on his movie, Burn After Reading, in New York. Brad is also preparing to start work on his next project, State of Play, a crime thriller based on the BBC series of the same name.

So, the question here is, how many schools will the Jolie-Pitt kids attend before Angelina and Brad settle down somewhere?

Amy Winehouse got off to a rocky start with her 27-date European tour. Some of her group felt the unexpected arrival of her husband, Blake Fielder Civil, might create drama making it hard for Amy to get through the tour.

She has been seen out and about in Berlin in the same clothes for days at a time and munching on junk food …. another one of her addictions.

She got through last night’s performance well once she got into the swing of things on stage. She seemed to be pull herself together after stumbling over the words of her first songs.

The Japanese are making robots more and more sophisticated. They have robots that help with the elderly, robots that give you a massage, robots that dance and wine steward robots.

“There’s a trend of robots becoming more human-like in appearance and coming more in contact with humans,” Levy said. “At first robots were used impersonally, in factories where they helped build automobiles, for instance. Then they were used in offices to deliver mail, or to show visitors around museums, or in homes as vacuum cleaners, such as with the Roomba. Now you have robot toys, like Sony’s Aibo robot dog, or Tickle Me Elmos, or digital pets like Tamagotchis.”

In his thesis, “Intimate Relationships with Artificial Partners,” Levy conjectures that robots will become so human-like in appearance, function and personality that many people will fall in love with them, have sex with them and even marry them.

“It may sound a little weird, but it isn’t,” Levy said. “Love and sex with robots are inevitable.”

Just think, a husband without all the complications. I bet the robot will even pick its underwear up out of the floor. It’ll probably really catch on.

Country music singer Gretchen Wilson did not like it AT ALL when the the Flight Attendant on a Nashville to Los Angeles flight asked her to put her dog back in the pet carrier case. After Gretchen became belligerent, the Flight Attendant took her to the back and tried to reason with the tipsy singer. They had already taken the alcohol away from the singer and her group.

Gretchen’s response to the Flight Attendant was a ‘belligerent and verbally abusive’ F*ck You!!

Not good Gretchen. Talk about an All Jacked Up Redneck Woman!

Prince William has taken Kate Middleton up to spend the weekend with his family in the Scottish Highlands at Balmoral. They have been dating again since this summer after breaking up when William supposedly got cold feet about their relationship.

Taking her up to Balmoral to be with Prince Charles and Camilla for the weekend is a big step and indicates the relationship is moving in a more serious direction.

William and Kate will be staying in this little cottage that has just undergone 80,000 (pounds) worth of renovations, including installing a large round bathtub for two. They’ll really be roughing it up there at the country estate! Charles and Camilla will be at their castle on the estate.
