Entertainment Weekly is reporting that they have talked with studio executives about the future of Lindsay Lohan’s career. The studio executives basically responded, ‘What career?’.

For one brilliant, flickering moment, she was poised to become a star. By the age of 17, Lindsay Lohan had played lead roles in four major films, two of them significant hits. In 2004, her first album had gone platinum. Mean Girls had opened at $24 million and had transported her from cute kid to budding sex symbol and style icon. Hollywood wanted to mold her into the next Julia Roberts. By last week, at the age of 21, she had blown it all away. ”She had the world at her feet,” says the head of a major studio. ”And right now, she’d have to pay a studio to get herself into a movie.”

Almost all of the studio executives said they would not hire Lindsay now. They say even though she’s been treated like a star in the press and blogs, she simply isn’t one. Her behavior on sets and the fact ‘Mean Girls’ is the only real hit she has had as an adult ended her career long before her legal troubles started.

If you think about it, she really has mostly been famous for her troubles and troubled lifestyle. As one of the studio executives said, the death of her career is the least of her problems right now, she needs to focus on keeping herself alive.

This is a troubled, lost little girl and I do believe she is in danger of turning up dead one day.

But …. Lindsay says she’s the greatest actress in the world.

Shanna Moakler is the mother of three children and is just fine with the baby fat she’s still struggling with.

“I look at my children and I am thrilled that my body will never be the same after having them,” 32-year-old mother of three says. “They were worth it!”

Writing on her MySpace page, the actress tells readers she’d “rather be called Shanna porker and be a healthy average WOMAN, th[a]n do what most do, to get that thin.”

“Most ’starlets’ have plastic surgery, they use pills, drugs, or they live in the gym for 4 to 6 hours a day,” writes Moakler. “It took 9 months[;] it might take a year getting back!”

Shanna has a daughter, Atiana, 8 (from her relationship with ex-fiancé, boxer Oscar De La Hoya), son Landon, 3, and 19-month-old Alabama from her marriage to Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker.

I like the way she talks about having a ‘womans’ body and embracing her body as it is while working to be healthy and fit. It’s certainly better than trying to hold on to youth until you look like …. oh … I don’t know …. this.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie continue their rapid ascent to sainthood. They are in the company of Queen Elizabeth II, the Pope and more. They are now represented on an Aussie stamp.

SUPERSTARS Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are set to join the Queen, the Pope and the nation’s sporting heroes by being immortalised in an Australia Post stamp.

The Hollywood A-List couple were featured on the cover of a recent edition of New Idea, the magazine which this week received top honours at the 10th Annual Magazine of the Year Awards.

Australia Post, as major sponsor of the awards, plans to reproduce the New Idea cover in the form of a 50c stamp.

It shows a smiling Brad and Angelina with their newborn baby girl Shiloh.

“I dont know of any other country in the world that has ever had Brad and Angelina on a stamp,” a New Idea spokesman said.

“Whatever the case, these stamps are sure to become instantly collectable and be sought after by philatelists around the country.”

Donatella Versace, the once muse and business partner to her brother Gianni Versace, has messed her face up.

Talk about not knowing when to stop, she’d give Michael Jackson a run for his money. Well, maybe not Michael Jackson, but close to it. Is it just me, or don’t you think that growing older with some grace and dignity is better than mutilating yourself in the hopes of looking 20 forever? You don’t look 20, surgery or no surgery. You just look mutilated.

Donatella claims to have been born in the 60s. She doesn’t give an exact date that I’ve found, but her claim is ‘the 60s’. What do you think? It’s hard to tell with the major mutilation going on.

Rock star David Coverdale of Whitesnake had a run-in with a black bear in his home in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. The bear broke in through a guest room on Wednesday morning and Coverdale ran him out of the house with an air horn canister.

Coverdale writes about the close encounter on his website.

The British singer, formerly of Deep Purple, said bear attacks had become a “daily worry” and that authorities had warned he may have to move out.

His first face-to-face encounter with a bear came in July, as he was “rinsing a cup or two at the kitchen sink”.

“I don’t mind telling you I almost succumbed to an involuntary bowel movement,” Coverdale told fans online.

The singer said he could feel the animal’s breath on his hand as he closed the kitchen window, before he “ran around” the house to make sure all the other entrances and exits were secure.

“I’d like to think it was the smell of my fab cooking that seduced him,” said Coverdale, “but it was only a slightly charred bagel!”

As we humans are taking up more space the black bears are getting less wary of us resulting in an increase in human to bear run-ins of this sort, especially in that area of the country.

Coverdale has had run-ins with black bears before.

The most recent incident saw a different bear break into the house though a sliding glass door, which had been left ajar by a guest.

The animal also took the opportunity to swim in the singer’s pool.

“We now have a big bear trap in the garden,” said Coverdale.

“For some reason, I don’t think these guys care for rock!”

The Lake Tahoe area, on the border of California and Nevada, is experiencing a rise in bear home invasions.

I agree with Jeanette, I just don’t get what all the fuss is about Scarlett Johansson, but I’m sure the men understand it.

That pale look just doesn’t suit her. She looks like a ghost.

Jennifer Lopez and hubby Marc Anthony are making their way across the country for advance screenings of their new movie El Cantante. She looks great back in her full-figured form.

Unfortunately, Lopez and Anthony are taking a lot of heat from the big-name salsa stars accusing the couple of exploiting the barrio culture and the memory of Hector Lavoe, salsa’s most inventive vocalists. Anthony plays Lovoe in the movie and Lopez plays his wife, Puchi Perez.

Lopez and Anthony are being brutally criticized for only portraying the dark side of Lavoe without proper focus to his contributions to salsa. Worse, they are New Yorkers who grew up speaking English and are being accused of using their Latin heritage just to make money. Even some of the performers who are Lavoe contemporaries and participated in the movie are piling on.

Lopez and Anthony have worked six years on this movie and are holding their own in the fight. At the Hollywood premiere this week at the Directors Guild of America Theatre on Sunset Boulevard she fired back at her detractors.

“I don’t know what movie they want to see, because this is the truth.”
