It seems like every time I turn around Paris Hilton has a new BFF. She goes through them like, well, I don’t know like what. Her latest is rumored to be non other than Kelly Clarkson, pictured below leaving Koi where she was with Paris.

They say Kelly is using Paris to boost her record sales after her falling out with Clive Davis and the cancellation of her tour.

It just seems like an odd couple to me. The question remains, has Kelly decided to join the bad-girl club or is Paris trying to redeem herself by choosing more mature friends?

Amy Polumbo, Miss New Jersey, has made news recently because of being blackmailed by someone threatening to release photos that Miss New Jersey found embarrassing. Apparently, the would-be blackmailer got the photos off Miss Polumbo’s Facebook page.

This morning, Ms Polumbo sucked it up and released the photos. The pictures were shown on NBC’s Today show and Ms. Polumbo correctly refers to them as showing her ‘not in a ladylike manner.’ They are just what she said they were, a bunch of school friends out acting goofy.

As you can see from the photos below, she is fully dressed and acting stupid with a bunch of friends. I can see why they would be embarrassing for a public figure. But really, what college students haven’t acted like that.

It seems to me that it’s much ado about nothing much …..

The BBC released a report yesterday that Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II walked out of a setting with celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz. Prior to her March visit to the United States the Queen sat for four portraits with Ms. Leibovitz who is best known for her famous photographs of a nude very pregnant Demi Moore.

The BBC pre-released a documentary A Year With The Queen a behind-the-scenes look at royal life that has been filmed over the last year.

Leibovitz suggested that the queen, who was also wearing ceremonial robes, remove her crown for the shoot, but Elizabeth was not amused.

“I think it will look better without the crown because the garter robe is so..,” Leibovitz said, before the queen interrupted her.

“Less dressy? What do you think this is?” the monarch hit back, pointing at what she was wearing and giving her an icy stare.

The queen then walked off, with an official carrying the large train of her blue velvet cape, and telling another: “I’m not changing anything. I’ve had enough dressing like this, thank you very much.”

The BBC released an apology to the Queen today for making the implication that she had walked out of the photo session. However, they offered no alternative explanation except to say that the sequence of events was misrepresented.

The most famous soon-to-be immigrant couple to the United States had a photo shoot for W magazine in Madrid recently and it sure nuff got hot over there. It was a hot day, after all ;).

I’ve often wondered if Posh is really as petulant as she appears to be in every picture I’ve ever seen her in. The interview in W indicates otherwise.

And while David wants to change the American opinion of professional soccer, Victoria, 33, seems determined to change the American opinion of her. “I think people are really going to see me for the first time,” she says. “I think they have this impression that I’m this miserable cow who doesn’t smile. But I’m actually quite the opposite.

“When you’re out there, they’re trying to get pictures up your shirt, down your top,” she continues, in explanation of her tendency to scowl in paparazzi shots. “With all the flashes, it’s as much as you can do to just find your car. I’m going to try and smile more for America.”

It’s getting a little old - and sad. Rosie O’Donnell can’t seem to let go of her resentment against Elizabeth Hasselbeck and Donald Trump. Here’s her most recent comment about her former “The View” buddy, Elizabeth Hasselbeck:

“Her only fucking credit was Survivor. Come on!”

Apparently a person must have what Rosie considers acceptable “credit” to be considered a worthwhile person. And Rosie’s comment about Elizabeth was made after she drew horns, tail and a goatee on a photo of Elizabeth. The immaturity and childish words are almost sad - but not quite. She’s goes after Donald Trump again, too.

I’d like to see Rosie on Survivor. Well, not really. I wouldn’t watch it. The point, though, is that Rosie wouldn’t make it through the first few days of Survivor. She’s such a petty and embittered woman. If she weren’t so annoying, it would be sad.

I checked Rosie’s website - just to see what it was like, and I was interested to read about how tolerant and accepting Rosie is of “almost everyone.” Rosie, enjoy your GLBT cruise and give up your mean-spirited comments. Your childish outbursts only diminish you further. Let it go, and move on.

It seems that Nicole Richie might be on her way to getting a much better deal than her pal, Paris Hilton.

Plea Deal Possible in Richie DUI Case

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Nicole Richie will have to decide Wednesday whether to accept a plea deal offered by prosecutors in her driving-under-the-influence case, according to a court spokesman.

Richie was not required to attend the court hearing because she faces a misdemeanor charge. . . .

Terms of the deal were not made available and the district attorney’s office declined to comment. . . .

Richie, 25, was arrested early on Dec. 11 after witnesses reported seeing her SUV headed the wrong way on a freeway in Burbank. She allegedly failed a field sobriety test and authorities said she told them she had smoked marijuana and taken a prescription painkiller. No drugs were found on her or in the vehicle.

She pleaded not guilty in February to misdemeanor driving under the influence.

In addition to the single count, the case contains an allegation that Richie had a prior misdemeanor DUI conviction in June 2003.

The California Vehicle Code says that if convicted of DUI twice within 10 years, a person can be sentenced to between 90 days and a year in jail and have driving privileges suspended.

Her legal problems come amid reports that she is pregnant. Her publicist has not answered repeated telephone and e-mail messages from The Associated Press. Her case also comes on the heels of Paris Hilton’s June 26 release from jail. Hilton, Richie’s partying pal and co-star in TV’s “The Simple Life,” spent about 23 days in custody for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

Hilton’s case drew a firestorm of criticism, with some saying she received preferential treatment when she was initially given an early release to home confinement and others arguing the judge was too harsh and made Hilton an example by sending her to jail.

Some observers believe Richie could help herself by attending the trial. She also might want to avoid being late to court hearings - like Hilton was once.

“Anything that appears humble before the court is wise,” said Hollywood publicist Michael Levine. “I think there’s a backlash afoot because of the Hilton trial and anything to nullify it would be a good idea.”

Others believe Lubell will be unmoved by what happened in Hilton’s case and will follow the law accordingly.

“I think it’s going to be in the back of his mind,” said defense attorney Mark Geragos, who has represented Winona Ryder and Michael Jackson. “But if it’s a second DUI offense, it usually carries a mandatory amount of jail time.”

Guess we’ll see how she fares with the legal system. I wonder if she’ll cry for her mommy if she’s put in jail?

Jamie Dornan is best known as Keira Knightley’s ex-boyfriend and he doesn’t like it even a little bit. He is a model and actor with with a bit of a resume of his own. You might remember him as Marie Antoinette’s lover in the movie Marie Antoinette. Or as the guy who modeled Calvin Klein jeans with Kate Moss.

Jamie Dornan says that he ‘regrets even dating Keira Knightley, for he’s now more well know for being her ex than for his talents.’ The hot Irish hunk dated the Pirates of the Caribbean star for about two years. The quit dating in 2005.

“People knew me in the fashion world before I started going out with Keira because I’ve done some good work but it’s proving so hard to lose the stigma that’s attached,” Jamie complained to press.

He has been in a few movies and ads. He’s definitely a hunk. But honestly, would you know who he is if he hadn’t dated Keira Knightley. Maybe he can make it big himself and then they’ll refer to Keira Knightley as Jamie Dornan’s ex-girlfriend.

He’s also been linked romantically with Kate Moss and Sienna Miller.

Jessica Simpson turned 27 today. She has not had a good year. hopefully this year will be better for her.

This past year Jessica got a divorce from Nick Lachey and has had a turbulent relationship with singer-songwriter John Mayer. Right now her relationship with John Mayer is over, for now. She also has been working on a movie that has been repeatedly delayed because it’s so bad. It’s rumored she’s had a hard time concentrating on the movie.
