Britney Spears’ big come back is having a few set backs. That’s definitely an understatement. The most recent has been even more bizarre and erratic behavior while trying to film some stripper-esque scenes for her upcoming video ‘Get Back’.

I guess the session didn’t go that well. It was stopped prematurely after Britney stormed off the set in tears. When she returned, she was crying hysterically. The director of the shoot let her go home to get herself under control and filming stopped for the day.

It’s said that during the shoot Britney took frequent bathroom breaks. The crew described her as ‘erratic’ and ‘disoriented’. She just couldn’t handle the pole dancing routine and as she became increasingly wobbly prior to the crying jag she went on that ended the session.

She’s obviously not quite as fit as she was in her earlier incarnation. She’s had two babies but she’s only 25-years-old, with a trainer and some work she could regain her former hotness. That and I seriously hope she does SOMETHING about that hair! What is it with her hair?? I KNOW she can afford better extensions.

Okay, I know, it’s been around a little while, but it’s still hilarious.

The on-going antics of the Hollywood bad-girls continue to make headlines. It seems that each one of these girls is suffering from various forms of mental and emotional instability. One is an out of control drug addict who is like a little girl lost all alone in the world, others have multiple drug and alcohol abuse related incidents that they will have to answer for in courts of law, and then there is Britney.

Britany is certainly a part of that group. She’s another Hollywood bad girl who has had the misfortune of ‘making it’ too young. Too much at too young an age with too little or no guidance, supervision and/or love. Britney is just a little different from the others. She is showing signs and symptoms of real mental illness.

When someone is feeling out of control on the inside, they make more drastic and often times bizarre efforts to get control on the outside. She’s been indulging in pathetic attempts to gain control by hiring and then firing members of her staff. The reasons that are repeatedly given are that she won’t tolerate anyone she perceives as trying to take control away from her.

Her behavior is more and more erratic and strange. From using poor judgment by driving around with her children in her lap, to shaving her head, to stripping and jumping in the ocean for the phototogs, to flashing the paparazzi every chance she gets, to her outlandish and bizarre behavior at the OK magazine photo shoot recently (see video above). There’s more but honestly, I’ve lost track of it all and you get the picture.

Another symptom is her appearance. While I know it’s tons of fun to make fun of celebrities, especially when they let their guard down, she is routinely running around looking disheveled and downright grungy. I don’t know who shes doing her hair and make-up or her stylist is. Whoever is doing it is doing an awful job of it. Her clothes and her overall appearance is of someone who is increasingly disconnected and losing control.

Then there’s what appears to be paranoia. She showed up and handed her mother her walking papers telling her to stay away from her children. She’s violating custody agreements with FedEx. Which brings us to the latest drama.

She took her kids out of state to Las Vegas, violating her custody agreement. Kevin Federline is pretty pissed off about it.

“K-Fed is demanding that she get back to Los Angeles because she isn’t allowed to have the kids out of state.”

On top of that, one of her bodyguards Julio ‘JC’ Camera got into a fight with a photographer at the Wynn resort where Britney and entourage were vacationing.

Camera tackled the photographer after he allegedly got too close to Sean Preston, one of Britneys sons. Wynn’s security had everyone leave and called the police. Camera was cited for misdemeanor battery and Britney has filed an allegation of battery on behalf of Sean Preston against the photographer, Kyle Henderson.

The Spears delegation has left the Wynn, hopefully to return to L.A. and I’m sure to the relief of Las Vegas as a whole.

So it looks like Brit is losing control. Then again, she could just be a spoiled brat that hasn’t looked in a mirror in a very long time.

Jenna Jameson has to be one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the porn industry who works in front of the cameras.

She has successful started several businesses, including ClubJenna, Inc., that have made her a multi-millionaire. Now she’s adding another start-up business to her empire.

Jenna has created her own comic book series starring … her! Her character. ‘Shadow Hunter’ is a g-stringed, leather-clad heroine will fight monsters of the two-eyed variety in the series.

TMZ reports that she will, however, remain more or less clothed. Sorry to disappoint
I thought that the fact that the company producing her comics is Virgin was an interesting footnote to this story.

Tameka Foster and multiplatinum singer Usher were to wed Saturday (today!) in the Hamptons. Usher’s publicist Patti Webster told the Associated Press that the ceremony was canceled, offering no details. The couple is expecting their first child together in the fall.

The statement released by publicist Patti Webster to the AP read:

“It was announced today that the wedding ceremony for Usher Raymond, IV and Tameka Foster was canceled. No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected.”

Talk about leaving someone standing at the alter! There’s no word as to whether or not they are still a couple or still engaged.

Controversy has surrounded on of the top three Living Goddesses of Nepal since she broke with tradition and traveled overseas to help promote a British documentary about her life.

Ten-year-old Sajani Shakya returned to Kathmandu on July 18th to a rapturous reception by family and worshipers alike. As of Friday, July 20th, the authorities have said they are reconsidering their threat to strip her of her title.

Sajani was chosen to be a Living Goddess when she was 2-years-old. She will remain one until she reaches puberty. They are considered virgin goddesses.

Under the living goddess tradition followed for centuries in the three ancient cities in the Kathmandu valley, young girls are selected by priests to serve as incarnations of Kali, the Hindu goddess of power.

They remain in their “divine” role until menstruation when they must retire and rejoin the family. A new girl is then chosen.

In Bhaktapur, Sajani lives a normal life with her parents in the house a few paces from the historic Durbar Square among narrow streets paved with red bricks.

“I have been fortunate to have her selected as the Kumari,” her 43-year-old father Nuchhe Ratna Shakya said, sitting on a bench in the inner courtyard of a two-storey brick-and-wood house in the old quarter of Bhaktapur, near Kathmandu.

“It has brought good fortune and luck to the family. We feel great about her,” said Shakya, who says he managed to get a job in a biscuit factory after his daughter was selected.

There are other living goddesses in Nepal.

The main Kumari lives in an ancient temple in Kathmandu and sticks to tighter religious schedules than her counterparts in Bhaktapur and the neighbouring town of Patan, which also has its own virgin goddess.

Of course, Western human rights activists are trying to pressure Nepal to stop this tradition citing that it abuses the girls’ human rights. No one in Nepal seems to be complaining, including the girls and their families.

She lives a normal little girl’s life, other than the yearly two-week festival in which she is carried around on a throne that rests on the images of two lions and people worship her and she blesses them. She plays with her brothers and sisters, likes instant noodles and biscuits and plays with toys and dolls.

She’s completely unaware of the controversy surrounding her trip. Instead, she is excitedly showing pictures and telling stories about her grand trip to foreign lands.

Johnny Depp is buying a penthouse loft at the newly converted Eastern Columbia building. I don’t know if that means he’s actually moving to L.A. after his many years of living in France. More likely, he’s just getting a place in L.A. for convenience.

Nevertheless, he’s making his way to L.A.

The art deco Eastern Columbia website describes it’s lofts as classic, sophisticated, elegant, luxurious and urbane. Which they should be considering that Captain Jack Sparrow, I mean Johnny Depp just paid $2M for his loft there.

Son Maxwell Alston was 5 lbs, 3 oz, and was born four weeks early due to complications in the pregnancy — preeclampsia and gestational diabetes.

The baby was born in Vail, Colorado.
