It seems Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo got very relaxed in a not-so-private jacuzzi at a private resort in Mexico and got their pictures taken by an ambitious Mexican photo agency. Now they are trying to stop the publication of the hardcore pictures through their attorney.

Photos of a heavy make-out session in said jacuzzi have already been published in this week’s Life & Style magazine. These photos only show part of the action that happened that day in Mexico.

According to TMZ, the rest of the pictures show a lot more than just making out. In fact, they report the rest of the photos are hardcore photos of the couple in several different sex positions in the jacuzzi.

The couple have hired Hollywood attorney Marty Singer and he has sent written notification to various publications that they will face a tremendous lawsuit if they publish the pictures.

Singer told TMZ the photographer was “outrageous and malicious,” adding, “The photos that were taken of our clients by a Mexican photographer violated Mexican law and were a clear invasion of privacy, and we have threatened to take legal action against third parties who publish the photos.”

Woah! That sounds serious. I’m sure the photographer thought he’d just earned his retirement money, but the Hollywood legal system seems to have stopped him dead in his tracks.

The lesson here is to …. get. a. room.

A little scandal in the “Skating with Celebrities” world.

‘Skating With Celebrities’ star Kristy Swanson tells PEOPLE magazine that she didn’t break up the marriage between her skating partner Lloyd Eisler and his then-wife Marcia O’Brien.

Swanson, who gave birth to a son with Eisler last February, says “I’m not a homewrecker. Lloyd and Marcia were separated before I ever met him.”

The original ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ was paired with Eisler for the reality competition, and sparks flew. But their romance caused a stir, since Eisler’s wife was eight months pregnant at the time.

But the drama didn’t stop there. Police recently arrested Swanson for allegedly assaulting O’Brien. Swanson has since counter-sued, saying Eisler’s ex attacked her first.

“She attacked me, and I am confident that after the investigation is complete, the truth will come out,” Swanson tells the magazine.

Let me get this straight. Eisler’s wife was 8 months pregnant when he hooked up with Swanson - and now she’s has also had a baby with him. Don’t these celebrities know about birth control? Hazel, I swear this story reminds me of K-Fed and Britney. Some men seem driven to impregnate as many women as possible.

And as far as Swanson’s declaration that she’s not a homewrecker . . . it reminds me of what my dear old mother used to say: “Your actions are so loud, I can’t hear what you’re saying!”

And which was first: Dancing With The Stars or Skating With Celebrities?

In an earlier post I mentioned that Kate Middleton was not at the Concert for Diana. Apparently, I was wrong. I guess just the fact that I didn’t see her doesn’t mean she wasn’t there. Ha!

The Telegraph.co.uk reports that Kate was at the concert with a sensual new look. Maybe that’s why I missed her!

For Wembley, however, Kate went for fashion a la Brasiliana, choosing a white-hot trench coat from the red-hot label, Issa, brainchild of the fiery Brasilian designer, Daniela Issa Helayel, who set up her business in London’s Docklands in 2002.

It is not the first time Kate has followed the alluring trail of the ‘Girl from Ipanema.’ Earlier in the week she was spotted in a black crystal dress from the same designer.

Cyndi Lauper left a message for Britney Spears on her blog. She was reading Page Six and saw that Britney was joining her tour.

So the real story is:Britney was invited to perform in Las Vegas with us. No one representing Britney ever responded.

I watched parts of the Concert for Diana that aired earlier today on what would have been Princess Diana’s 46th birthday. The concert also marked the 10 year anniversary of her death on August 31, 1997.

Diana’s two sons, Princes William and Harry organized this tribute to their mother attended by close to 70,000 at London’s new Wembley Stadium. All of the proceeds from the event will go to Princess Diana’s charities as well as favorite charities of Princes William and Harry.

Included in the star studded event were performances by Rod Stewart, Elton John, Tom Jones, Kanye West, Joss Stone, and Princess Diana’s favorite, Duran Duran. Elton John opened and closed the concert. The Princes addressed the audience at both the beginning and the end of the concert.

There were rumors that Kate Middleton would accompany Prince William to the concert, but I didn’t see her in the crowd of friends surrounding them in the concert. Prince Harry’s longtime girlfriend Chelsy Davy was with him.

At the close, there was a brief video tribute to Diana’s life featuring childhood pictures.

As the British might say, it was brilliant.

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has named Carrie Underwood and Kevin Eubanks this years ‘World’s Sexiest Vegetarians’.

This is the second time Grammy winner Carrie Underwood has won the award. She also held the title in 2005. This is Kevin Eubanks first time as the World’s Sexiest Vegetarian. He is the leader of NBC’s Tonight Show Band. Jay Leno ran a campaign on behalf of Eubanks urging his viewers to call in votes.

Runners-up in the contest, which the animal rights group said drew more than 110,000 votes on its Web site, included Joaquin Phoenix, Milo Ventimiglia, Kristen Bell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jared Leto and Lisa Edelstein.

Last year, Prince and Bell, who starred on the “Veronica Mars” TV series, were picked as the two sexiest vegetarians. Previous winners also include Natalie Portman, Andre 3000, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Shania Twain, Tobey Maguire, Lauren Bush, Josh Hartnett and Alicia Silverstone.
